Mrs. Carter is a graduate of the University of Mount Olive and has earned a degree in Agriculture Production Systems Extension and Outreach. She had interned with N.C. Cooperative Extension in Lenoir and Wayne Counties and has worked with Smithfield Foods in hog production. Mrs. Carter has recently been assisting with regional efforts to help producers locate and acquire hay and feed rations that were lost as result of Hurricane Florence.
