The Pamlico County Cooperative Extension office would like to introduce our newest Master Gardener Interns who recently completed our 40-hour volunteer training course.

Congratulations to the 2025 Pamlico County Extension Master Gardener graduates on completing 40 hours of horticulture training!
Training Highlights and Course Completion
These participants received instruction on growing vegetables, maintaining turfgrass, producing tree fruit and small fruit, and controlling pests within the landscape.
Celebrating with a Visit to Tryon Palace
To celebrate the completion of this course, participants visited the gardens at Tryon Palace in New Bern, NC and learned about various landscape plants that are adapted to our local climate, and others that have a historical relationship to our area.

Becoming an Extension Master Gardener
Participants who have completed this course may now obtain the title of Extension Master Gardener by completing volunteer service hours with Cooperative Extension. If you recognize these participants, please congratulate them for completing this course. We look forward to working with them to bring home horticulture related instruction and assistance to the citizens of Pamlico County.
